Director of Store Facilities and Analytics
Family Dollar
Member Type: Facility Manager
I am a 24-year retired U.S. Navy Veteran with nearly two decades of leadership experience in multi-site retail facilities management. My career began as a Regional Facility Manager for CVS Pharmacy, and since then I have held key roles with Sodexo, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Dollar Tree/Family Dollar. Following the Family Dollar sale to private equity, I have transitioned exclusively to FD, where I am leading the build-out and development of the Facilities Department.
As a multi-site facilities leader, I’ve had the privilege of overseeing complex operations across diverse markets ensuring that retail environments remain safe, efficient and customer ready. I am seeking a board position with Connex because I believe in the power of shared knowledge, industry standards and collaborative leadership to elevate our profession.
When I first became a member of PRSM now Connex I learned early that Connex was the cornerstone for facilities professionals, offering resources, education, and a community that fosters growth. I’ve benefited from this network and now feel compelled to contribute more directly to its mission. With hands on experience managing vendor relationships, driving cost-effective solutions and leading teams through change, I bring a field-informed perspective to the board.
I am passionate about mentoring others and advocating for innovation in retail facilities management. I see Connex as a platform where I can help shape the future of our industry through supporting workforce development and enhancing member engagement.
Becoming a Connex board member would allow me to serve the broader community of facilities professionals, share insights and help guide initiatives that reflect the evolving needs of our field and at the same time allow me to learn and grow to become a stronger asset in the facilities community.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to serve.
Sr. National Account Executive
Identiti
Member Type: Supplier
Bobbie Jo Sarles is a Senior National Account Executive at Identiti with over eight years in the facilities industry, specializing in signage and maintenance solutions. Named the 2025 Young Professional of the Year, she Co-chairs the Connex Young Professionals Committee, serves on the Thought Leadership Committee, and has represented ICSC Illinois State Board. A first-generation college graduate from Eastern Illinois University, she grew up on a farm, where her drive and determination first took root.
I’m honored to be considered for a position on the Connex Board of Directors. Over the past several years, my involvement with Connex—through the Young Professionals Committee, Thought Leadership Committee, and NomCom—has shown me the incredible impact our organization has on people, partnerships, and professional growth. These experiences have strengthened my belief in Connex as not just a network, but a community that drives innovation and collaboration across our industry.
As a Board member, my goal is to help bridge generations of professionals—empowering the next wave of leaders while supporting the ongoing success of seasoned members who have built the foundation we stand on today. I want to continue fostering meaningful connections between retailers, suppliers, and partners, ensuring every member finds value, visibility, and opportunity within the Connex community.
My vision for Connex is one that continues to evolve with the industry—embracing technology, celebrating diversity of thought, and prioritizing education that equips members to lead through change. I believe that by staying connected, curious, and collaborative, we can strengthen not only our association but the future of the facilities industry as a whole.
I’m truly committed to giving back to the organization that has shaped so much of my professional journey, and I would be honored to contribute my energy, creativity, and strategic mindset to the Connex Board.
Director of Facilities, North America
Attain Finance
Member Type: Facility Manager
Former Marketing and Sales Manager for Republic Services in Washington DC. Founder/owner of Air Capital Disposal, Elsea & Petty HOA Management, Goose Busters and finally turned into a Facility Manager for Curo Financial where I’ve been for the last 13 or so years. I once was a star in a Frosted Mini Wheat commercial…in my much younger days.
Connex is a great organization! It’s a leader in the Facilities world. Its members are world class people and organizations. Some of the best and brightest talent in our industry call Connex their trade organization of choice. Many of these leaders don’t have the time or ability to help further the advancement of Connex. I do! And I’m willing to devote my time and experience to supporting and advancing Connex and its member initiatives as much as I can if I’m elected to the Board.
I believe I bring a significant amount of experience as both a supplier (my time as an owner of a trash collection company and a property management company) and also as a long time Facility Management professional to the association. I think that I’m able to effectively serve and hear the needs and concerns of both suppliers and facility managers because of my experience. I’m looking forward to that opportunity!
Serving Connex and its members has been a long time goal of mine. I’ve run several times and never quite achieved it. I’m hoping that this time I’ll be successful and can have the opportunity to give back to an organization and group of people that have helped me reach my professional goals. I guess you could say I’m pretty persistent too. 🙂 Thank you for your consideration!

After attending my first Connex National Conference, I understood how influential the association is across the greater FM industry.
