ConnexFM is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are career professionals working in the industry, selling to and servicing retail and multi-site facilities. The 2026-2027 Board consists of 11 Directors with voting rights: six multi-site facility members and five supplier members who serve three-year rotating terms. The past chair sits on the board as a 12th member as well, but in a non-voting consultation role. In addition, three alternates, two multi-site facility members and one supplier member, serve as non-voting Board Members available to step into a Board seat should a vacancy occur on the Board during a term.
Oversees the financial health of the association, including reviewing financial records and sharing an annual update with members. This committee is chaired by the Treasurer, and participation is by invitation only.
Governance Committee
Supports the overall governance of the association and works closely with the Board of Directors on key organizational matters. Additional governance-focused committees include Member Advisory and Executive Compensation. Committee members are selected by the Chair.
Nominating Committee
Identifies and recommends candidates for the Board of Directors to help ensure strong leadership. The committee meets regularly toward the end of each fiscal year and is chaired by the Board’s Vice Chair. Participation is by invitation.
